It’s almost that time of the year when the Holidays subside and your family flies back home. But yes, there’s still that one thing that hasn’t gone away… that New Year’s resolution that you set for yourself.
Here are some simple (and easy) tips for achieving that often dissipated New Year’s resolution.
- Set yourself up with something you REALLY want to accomplish: listen to your head and your heart! Make sure your resolutions make sense to YOU. Don’t listen to what others set for themselves; give yourself a resolution you truly care about. Big or small.
- Goals and resolutions must be feasible and within reach, so be realistic with your resolution. If you want to lose weight, set yourself up with a realistic number… don’t try something that’s almost impossible to achieve. OR, if you reach your goal too early, know that you can always adjust it and move on with a new goal.
- Keep a journal and jot down notes: Keeping a daily (or weekly) log of your progression helps keep you motivated and on track! Once you reach your goal, you will also feel a sense of accomplishment looking back and seeing the results.
