Concord Antique Faire & Collectibles

When: Third Sunday of each month

Where: Todos Santos Plaza @ Downtown Concord

Concord Antique Faire & Collectibles is a year-round outdoor marketplace, held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. About 65 vendors sell everything from fine linens to chanderliers and everything in-between. There’s something for everyone, so bring your family and friends and come join the fun! You don’t have to be an antique enthusiast, but you may find your one-of-a-kind-treasure. Admission & parking are complimentary.

Butterfield 8 Presents a Christmas Carol

When: Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th

Charles Dickens’ novella, arguably the best-know secular tale of Christmas, comes to life as Butterfield 8′s sold-out production returns for a second year. This abridged reading of the story (created specifically for B8) tells the tale of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and the three spirits who change his life as few productions do using only the author’s own words. This year B8 incorporates puppets as the spirits to expand the storytelling experience.

Oakland East Bay Symphony Opens 25th Season

When: Friday, November 8th at 8:00 pm

Where: Paramount Theatre, Oakland, CA

Top-of-the-charts Romanticism meets a contemporary fusion of symphony, electronic music and improvisation in a tour-de-force concert that will open Oakland East Bay Symphony’s 25th anniversary season. Music Director Michael Morgan has programmed the kind of musical range, interest and innovation for the opening that dynamically demonstrates the orchestra’s long-established reputation for audience-captivating and imaginative music.
